The challenge
As LW Tickets grew in scale and ambition, it became clear the brand needed to establish its own identity – one that could carry weight in a broader market while still feeling unmistakably part of the LW Theatres family.
The ambition was to build something distinctive from the ground up. In a space that is increasingly competitive, the brand needed to feel credible to producers, exciting to audiences and cohesive within the wider LW ecosystem.
The solution needed to speak to the emotional joy of live entertainment, while supporting the operational clarity expected from a modern ticketing platform.
Idea
Every extraordinary experience starts with a ticket.
This became the creative and strategic springboard for everything that followed – from the brand strategy to the visual execution. The visual identity flexes from the core LW Theatres masterbrand, using the spotlight and stage motifs as a starting point.
At its centre is The Ticket – a framing device and design asset that houses content, imagery and messaging. A pastel colour palette, inspired by vintage ticket stubs, adds warmth and tactility, while a confident typographic system brings structure and authority.
We translated the new visual identity into a launch campaign, developing tone of voice and messaging framework, creating an OOH experience that transformed, transport networks across London and beyond into theatrical previews, celebrating the variety of extraordinary shows.
The Impact
Launched in 2025, LW Tickets is now a distinctive, standalone brand within the LW Theatres family.
From online booking to box office partnerships, the new identity brings clarity, creativity and consistency to a part of the experience often overlooked.
By turning the ticket itself into a symbol of anticipation and intent, LW Tickets now sets the tone for the extraordinary moments that follow.
